A new “OVH City” creates 60 jobs in Sophia

OVH, the European leader in web hosting, is launching a huge deployment operation supported by the recruitment of 500 people, including 60 in Sophia.

Historically set up in Roubaix Valley (North), OVH will double its workforce over the next three years. In order to recruit 500 people, OVH is opening six offices, "OVH Cities" based in major French and Belgian towns and cities. The objective is to develop a close relationship with our customers by recruiting 500 employees by 2015.

As part of this expansion, the company created in Roubaix will shortly open one of its six new "OVH Cities" in Sophia Antipolis and is now recruiting for around sixty positions. In order to create teams that are ready to rise to new challenges throughout France, OVH is recruiting not only systems administrators for key accounts, who have strong Linux and Windows administration skills, but also development engineers, salespeople and even field technicians.

They chose the Côte d'Azur

"Sophia-Antipolis is a very attractive region for any semiconductor company, for several reasons. The first one is that in the technology park of Sophia-Antipolis there is a solid tradition of analog and digital design, which is due to the presence of other big companies working in the same or similar markets, like Texas Instruments, Intel, STM and others. The second reason is linked to presence in the technology park of the Polytech'Nice-Sophia and other important schools.

That will guarantee our future growth since the region will always offer both experienced design engineers and you talents to hire."
