March 15-21: Brain week 2010
Under the auspices of the Society for Neuroscience and the Dana Foundation', the Brain Week 2010 is a European event co-organized by the Regional Delegation of the CNRS, the Nice-Sophia Antipolis University and the Institute of Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology and will be held from 15 to 21 March 2010 in the Alpes-Maritimes and the Var.
During one week, teams of researchers, teachers, engineers and students at leading academic and research centers from Côte d’Azur will present the latest research on the brain.
The inaugural conference, "Alzheimer's disease: 100 years after its discovery, where are we? "By Frédéric Checler, Research Director at Inserm IPMC," will be held March 15 at 18:00 at the Campus Saint-Jean d'Angely in Nice.
An exhibition, organized by the Federation for Brain Research, entitled "The brain in all its states" offers a journey into the heart of the brain. It is presented to the Community Media Center of Valbonne Sophia Antipolis.
Scientific workshops, conferences, debates, will be held in several cities involved in the operation, such as Antibes, Biot, Cannes, Tales, Mouans-Sartoux, Sophia Antipolis, Nice, Toulon , Valbonne ...
