The EDHEC Global MBA enters the global Top 50 of the FT MBA 2023 ranking

EDHEC Business School, which has one of its campuses based in Nice, enters the Top 50 of the world’s best MBA programs, according to the Financial Times ranking.

This new recognition comes a few weeks after climbing three places in the TOP 10 of the best European business schools, reaching the 7th position in the annual Financial Times ranking.

This year, the EDHEC Global MBA shows a progression of 26 places and ranks 47th globally, confirming its momentum within this benchmark ranking.

In France, EDHEC is the 3rd ranked Grande École in the ranking, following HEC and ESCP.

The school ranks 3rd worldwide on the ESG dimension (Environmental, Social, and Governance criteria).

For the third consecutive year, the institution has secured the third position in the ESG and net zero teaching category (ESG teaching and carbon neutrality: proportion of teaching hours dedicated to ethics, social and environmental issues, and climate solutions to achieve carbon neutrality), confirming its commitment to promoting teachings related to environmental impact.

In addition, the FT ranks EDHEC 17th globally on its new Carbon Footprint criterion, which takes into account the institutions’ policy on carbon emissions. This result is a recognition of the school’s societal commitment, which, through its strategic plan “Impact Future Generations,” aims to train leaders in the service of a positive transformation of the world.

EDHEC has placed ESG issues and the fight against climate change at the heart of its teaching project. The Global MBA notably offers courses on sustainable finance in synergy with the EDHEC-Risk Climate Impact Institute (ERCII), the EDHEC center for research in climate finance. ESG topics are addressed in 80% of the core courses and in dedicated modules such as: Business Ethics, Sustainability & CSR and Sustainable Business Models and also as part of the Sustainable Impact Challenge. For 5 months, participants are invited to solve real and concrete ESG issues faced by companies, including IBM, Air Liquide, Schneider Electric, Vulog, Somfy, etc.

Ranked 6th globally on the International Mobility criterion, the EDHEC Global MBA is a true accelerator of international careers thanks to the diversity of its classes (97% international profiles), which is conducive to the acquisition of intercultural skills, as well as the personalized support of the Career Services.

The ranking also distinguishes the MBA on the Value for Money dimension with an 8th global position, demonstrating the strong added value of this intensive 10-month program, offering participants particularly attractive career prospects internationally.

“The exceptional progression of the EDHEC Global MBA in this ranking is a recognition of both the program’s excellence and the impact strategy pursued by EDHEC for several years in service of future generations. The Global MBA is more than ever a unique and transformative learning experience for participants. We train managers who are aware of the issues related to sustainable development, diversity, and inclusion and ready to engage in solving major societal challenges.”, emphasizes Sandra Richez, Director of the EDHEC Global MBA.
