Hyatt Hotels & Resorts announces the appointment of Julien Renetaud as the General Manager of Hyatt Regency Nice Palais de la Méditerranée.

Born in the Côte d’Azur and a graduate of Ferrandi School in Paris, Julien Renetaud, coming from a family of hoteliers, has traveled the globe since his youth. He honed his initial skills at the renowned 3 Michelin-starred restaurant, l’Arpège, in Paris.

After this enriching experience, Julien Renetaud relocated to Boston, United States, where at the age of 24, he assumed the role of Restaurant Manager at a Relais & Châteaux establishment for three years.

In 2011, Julien Renetaud joined Hyatt as Assistant Restaurant Manager at the Michelin-starred restaurant “Le Pur'” at Park Hyatt Paris Vendôme. His journey led him to Hotel Martinez in 2013, where he served as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage before being promoted to Director of Food and Beverage.

Between 2016 and 2019, Julien Renetaud temporarily departed from Hyatt to be part of the opening team for a Leading Hotels of the World property in Madrid, Spain. He returned to Hyatt at Hyatt Regency Paris-Charles de Gaulle as Director of Operations before transitioning to Hotel Martinez, part of the Unbound Collection by Hyatt, as Hotel Manager in May 2022.

Located on the Promenade des Anglais and just a few steps away from the Old Town of Nice, Hyatt Regency Nice Palais de la Méditerranée is one of the iconic luxury hotels in Nice.

The iconic white Art Deco architecture from the 1930s, which is synonymous with this hotel, was restored in 2004. With 187 rooms, including 11 magnificent suites with views of the sea and the city, and nearly 1700 m² of meeting and event spaces, it stands out as a preferred choice for corporate seminars, international conferences, and prestigious events. Hyatt Regency is renowned for its comprehensive range of services tailored to conference attendees, business travelers, and vacationers alike.

Julien Renetaud’s appointment as the Director of Hyatt Regency Nice Palais de la Méditerranée promises an era of dynamism and innovation for this prestigious establishment.
