A Unique Year-Round Route : Starting June 27, 2025, Air Corsica will offer a year-round connection between Nice and Florence, with two weekly flights.
An Interconnected Network: Optimized connections with Corsica’s four airports—Ajaccio, Bastia, Calvi, and Figari—will make travel seamless.
Efficient Aircraft: The flights will be operated with ATR72-600 aircraft, a new-generation model stationed in Nice year-round.
A Strategic Route for Air Corsica
The launch of the year-round direct route between Nice and Florence marks a strategic step in Air Corsica’s expansion into the Italian market. Starting June 27, 2025, two weekly flights, on Mondays and Fridays, will be operated using ATR72-600 aircraft, modern and recently integrated into the airline’s fleet.
This new route, a first from Nice Côte d’Azur Airport, addresses growing demand for direct connections between the French Riviera and Italy. It is part of a broader strategy to strengthen ties between Nice, Corsica, and Tuscany—three iconic Mediterranean regions.
Enhanced Regional Connectivity
Designed for maximum connectivity, this new route ensures seamless interoperability with Corsica’s four airports: Ajaccio, Bastia, Figari, and Calvi. Schedules have been tailored to allow smooth connections in Nice, making it easier for Italian travelers to reach Corsica and Corsican residents to travel to Florence.
Since entering the Italian market in 2022 with flights to Rome, Milan, and Olbia, Air Corsica has demonstrated its ability to tap into the growing potential of cross-border travel. With this new year-round route, the airline continues its momentum by optimizing its fleet based in Nice.
Economic and Tourism Potential
The year-round connection between Nice and Florence strengthens opportunities for tourism and business travel. Florence, the capital of Tuscany, is a draw for both visitors and professionals, just as the French Riviera and Corsica remain highly sought-after destinations in Europe.
With fares starting at €99 one-way (including taxes) for Nice-Florence and €269 round-trip for Corsica-Nice-Florence, Air Corsica targets a diverse clientele. The offer includes a 23 kg checked bag and an 8 kg carry-on, with group-friendly options available.
