A Hotel Designed to Enhance the Nice Experience
Maison Albar – Le Victoria, the new 5-star establishment of the Centaurus Group, is located at 6 Avenue de Suède, between the Promenade des Anglais and Place Masséna. With a public opening on November 15, 2024, and an official inauguration on December 6, this hotel reflects the group’s commitment to delivering unique and memorable experiences.
Céline Falco, Managing Director and Co-Founder of Centaurus Group and Maison Albar Hotels, describes this project as a major achievement:
“Le Victoria is something we dreamed of, imagined, designed, and shaped. It is the group’s most significant investment, our most ambitious project. We are delighted to open its doors and offer our guests the Maison Albar Hotels experience at its very best.”
Jean-Bernard Falco, President and Co-Founder of Centaurus Group and Maison Albar Hotels, adds:
“Nice, a city listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has incredible potential. Maison Albar Hotels – Le Victoria offers tourists from around the world a warmly luxurious experience, ideally located in the heart of the city and facing the sea. Like all our properties, it is also a gathering and celebration place for locals, who can enjoy our restaurants and spa.”
Exceptional Amenities and Strategic Vision
Le Victoria offers a premium experience with its 102 rooms and 30 suites featuring spectacular views. The rooftop restaurant Taulissa, led by Glenn Viel and Fred Grava, stands out for its creative local cuisine. The Oria spa, equipped with exclusive treatments and innovative technologies like the Vital Dome, further raises the bar of excellence.
This project aligns with Centaurus Group’s global strategy to strengthen its position in the luxury hotel market. Already present in Paris, Nîmes, Porto, and Braga, Maison Albar Hotels plans to open Maison Albar – Le Giulio Cesare in Rome in the first half of 2025.
A Commercial Project Integrated into the Luxury Sector
Beyond hospitality, Maison Albar – Le Victoria also includes a commercial aspect. The luxury shopping gallery at the foot of the hotel provides high-end brands with a prime location in Nice’s city center.
Additionally, the hotel features four event rooms equipped to host professional or private gatherings. This comprehensive offering enhances Victoria’s appeal to businesses and organizers of seminars or conferences, a crucial segment for hotels in this category.
Nice’s Hotel Development Strategy
This project is part of the broader strategy by the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis to expand its high-end hotel offerings.
Following recent openings such as the Anantara Plaza, Crowne Plaza, Sheraton, Hôtel Palais Ségurane, Mama Shelter Nice, and Hôtel du Couvent, Nice aims to meet the growing demand for quality accommodations.
By 2025, Nice will have 3,000 additional rooms compared to 2020, 60% of which will be in the 4- and 5-star categories. The excellence of this offering has been recognized by the recent awarding of a Michelin Key to seven hotels in the region.
These initiatives aim to position Nice as a premier destination for both business and leisure tourism while meeting the evolving expectations of travelers.
