- A Partnership Around Bachelor Programs: On November 26, EDHEC Business School and Albert School announced the launch of a dual-degree program combining Albert School’s Bachelor in Business & Data with EDHEC’s International BBA.
- Skill Hybridization: This dual-degree merges expertise in data and business strategy, equipping students to meet the demands of future careers in a constantly evolving job market.
- Multi-Campus Availability: The program will be available on EDHEC’s campuses in Nice and Lille, as well as Albert School’s campus in Paris.
- Simplified Access to Master’s Programs: The “Bachelor to Master” pathway provides expedited admission to MSc programs at both institutions, offering benefits such as application fee waivers and personalized guidance.
EDHEC Business School and Albert School have signed an agreement to offer a dual-degree program within their respective Bachelor cycles.
This partnership enables students to develop a sought-after blend of Business & Data skills that are highly valued in today’s job market.
Founded in 2021, Albert School focuses on preparing students for future careers through an innovative approach to data science. EDHEC Business School, a leading European institution, boasts a global network of over 55,000 alumni.
This collaboration aligns with EDHEC’s new strategic plan, Generations 2050. The plan prioritizes “training to transform” and encourages students to take an active role in helping businesses address major societal challenges. The dual-degree program reflects EDHEC’s commitment to preparing students for the demands and professions of the AI era.
Hybrid Skill Sets: Meeting Tomorrow’s Workforce Needs
Starting next academic year, Albert School students will have the option to enroll in the third year of EDHEC’s International BBA (a 4-year program) at either the Lille or Nice campus.
Similarly, EDHEC BBA students can join the second year of Albert School’s Bachelor in Business & Data (a 3-year program) in Paris, provided they have completed supplementary modules in mathematics (linear algebra) and computer science (Python programming).
Applicants will need to meet the prerequisites set by their respective institutions, including English language proficiency, to be considered for admission.
Upon completing their dual-degree program, students will earn both Albert School’s Bachelor in Business & Data and EDHEC’s International BBA.
The partnership also facilitates privileged access to Master’s programs at both institutions, including benefits such as waived application fees, personalized counseling, and access to excellence scholarship programs.
Through the “Bachelor to Master” recruitment agreement, up to 10 students from the partner school can join a selection of Master of Science (MSc) programs.
While the admission process is streamlined, candidates must still meet program criteria and successfully pass the selection interviews.
Emmanuel Métais, Dean of EDHEC Business School, states:
“This dual-degree with Albert School gives our students a significant advantage, allowing them to develop hybrid skills that combine strategic vision with data expertise. This new program is a concrete example of our commitment to ‘train to transform’ as part of our Generations 2050 plan.”
Grégoire Genest, Founder and CEO of Albert School, adds: “Between EDHEC, which ‘trains to transform,’ and Albert School, which ‘trains tomorrow’s leaders,’ this partnership was an obvious step, a simple handshake away. Both schools are dedicated to providing students with an education of excellence. Our shared commitment makes this partnership a natural fit, and we are thrilled to make it a reality.”
