“Announced on June 14, 2023, the French Tech 2030 initiative represents a new stage in supporting the emergence of companies developing revolutionary innovations.
This initiative fully aligns the state’s financing and support strategy with the priorities of France 2030.
The initiative aims to create a French technological offering to preserve French economic sovereignty, and startups play a crucial role in creating new large-scale solutions.
The French Tech 2030 program is part of the DeepTech and industrial dynamic launched by the 2023 promotion of French Tech Next40/F120 through the introduction of startups that are deploying new solutions, particularly to address the challenges of the ecological transition.
125 actors selected
“The selection was made with the aim of supporting companies capable of accelerating their development, with particularly significant technological levels and economic potential.
The industrial dimension of the projects was also taken into account.
The 125 selected emerging actors will benefit from the support of the French Tech Mission for a minimum duration of one year, renewable.
The program in place aims to provide financial and extra-financial support through individual and collective support on the strategic challenges of companies.
6 Côte d’Azur actors selected
Among the selected actors, several are based on the Côte d’Azur:
- Based in Nice, Firecell develops and distributes the first open-source 4G and 5G software suite that allows industrial companies to deploy and operate private networks on their sites By leveraging the open-source model, Firecell’s mission is to democratize private 5G networks by making them as accessible as WiFi, thus enabling companies of all sizes to modernize their industrial facilities as quickly as possible.
- Qualisteo is a startup that has been established in the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis since its creation in Nice in 2010. The company offers organizations the opportunity to reduce their energy costs, without investments, thanks to an innovative building energy saving solution. The cleantech startup has implemented its solution on more than 300 sites in 37 countries around the world.
- Kalray, a leader in hardware and software technologies dedicated to the intensive management and processing of data from the Cloud to the Edge.
- Mycophyto develops natural biological solutions to revitalize soils and assist in plant development.
- Spectronite is a company specializing in wireless communication solutions for mobile operators.
- Ternwaves is developing disruptive technology for connectivity of objects on both terrestrial and satellite networks.
These Côte d’Azur companies represent a part of French innovation and contribute to the dynamics of the French Tech 2030 initiative.
