International Higher Education Campus: Study Initiated by the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis

Higher Education Campus Nice

In recent years, the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis has distinguished itself with its dynamism in the sectors of education, training, and innovation.

Thanks to close collaborations with key players in education, both public and private, it has created an ecosystem conducive to the development of startups and renowned academic institutions.

The establishment of major schools, such as Centrale Méditerranée, Isart Digital, or Rocket School, especially in the strategic Nice Méridia area and the EcoVallée, has contributed to this evolution, offering training aligned with the demands of the job market and the professions of the future.

International Campus Project in Cagnes-sur-Mer

Continuing this momentum, the Métropole announces the launch of a study for the creation of a higher education campus in Cagnes-sur-Mer. This project, unveiled at the Salon de l’Immobilier d’Entreprise (SIMI) in Paris, represents a major ambition for the region. The choice of Cagnes-sur-Mer, strategically located between Nice, Sophia Antipolis, Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport, and near the University Côte d’Azur, is significant. The campus will benefit from an exceptional location, offering international visibility and an environment conducive to learning and innovation.

Challenges and objectives of the Campus

This campus aims to meet high standards in sustainable development and academic excellence. The ongoing study covers various aspects, including the design of the campus, its infrastructure, the definition of academic programs, and the identification of leading educational partners. The Directorate of Higher Education, Research, and Training of the Métropole is determined to attract a major educational group, thereby enhancing the international stature of the Métropole as a center of educational excellence.

This project is part of a long-term vision to make the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis a major attraction in the field of higher education and research. By combining an ideal learning environment with a strong potential for innovation, this new campus is set to become a preferred location for students and researchers from around the world.
