In continuation of the development of its high-end hotel offerings, with recent openings such as the Anantara Plaza, Crowne Plaza, and Sheraton, the city of Nice is preparing to welcome a new luxury establishment: the 4-star Mama Shelter, designed by Serge Trigano.
The inauguration of this prestigious establishment is scheduled for June 2024.
This project is located in the Riquier district, highlighting a new area of the city situated between the Port of Nice and Nice-Riquier Train Station. This district has recently benefited from the opening of the Institute of Oral Medicine, further enhancing its development.
Mama Shelter is designed as a lifestyle hotel and a hybrid space. The establishment will feature around a hundred rooms, a bar, a restaurant, a fitness area, and a rooftop pool. This ongoing development covers an area of 7,320 square meters and is expected to create nearly 90 jobs once completed.
It is also worth noting that the establishment will have 200 square meters dedicated to meeting rooms.
The site visit of this promising hotel took place on Friday, June 30, 2023, in the presence of several dignitaries: Christian Estrosi, Mayor of Nice, President of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis, and Delegate President of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region; Franck Martin, Delegate Deputy for the Hauts de Nice Territory, Commerce, Markets, Crafts, and Gare du Sud; and Serge Trigano, the founder of Mama Shelter.
This event, marking a key milestone in the progress of the project, took place at the corner of Rue Beaumont and Boulevard Riquier, where the future Mama Shelter is taking shape.
It is a strong symbol for the city of Nice, which continues to assert its ambition in the high-end hotel sector while enhancing its neighborhoods with innovative and attractive establishments. This further strengthens its position as a destination of choice for travelers from around the world.
