The introduction of prestigious brands such as Pierre Hermé and Ladurée highlights a high-end positioning in the airport’s dining services.
The innovative culinary concepts of Mochi Coffee and Pokawa reflect a fusion of local and exotic flavors, while Café Mauresque offers a taste of authentic Nice cuisine.
The implantation of these brands not only stimulates the local economy but also reinforces the airport’s attractiveness as a gastronomic stopover.
Nice Côte d’Azur Airport, recognized for its dynamism and openness to the international scene, is starting the summer season 2024 with a renewed and enriched offer in terms of catering.
This enrichment follows a call for tenders launched in the spring of 2023 aimed at diversifying the culinary options available to travelers and visitors to the terminals.
Luxury and tradition: Pierre Hermé and Ladurée in the spotlight
From the start of the summer season 2024, the airport terminals will be enriched with two illustrious names in the world of pastry.
Pierre Hermé, the symbol of high-end pastry, will be present from June on both terminals, in the boarding area, to present his iconic and seasonal collections of macarons, as well as a range of moist and shareable cakes, pastries, and ice creams.
At the same time, Ladurée will offer its macarons and pastries in a friendly space located in terminal 1, accessible to travelers and external visitors. It is located only a few meters from the tramway stop that connects the airport to the city center.
Fusion of flavors: exoticism within reach
With the introduction of Mochi Coffee and Pokawa, the airport embraces global gastronomic trends while anchoring them in the local tradition.
Mochi Coffee, teminal 2, inspired by Japanese pastry, offers a rich interpretation of mochi, enhanced with local flavors such as Menton lemon and Gréolières lavender honey. The opening is scheduled for early May.
Pokawa, on the other hand, takes the taste buds on a journey with its poké bowls, a harmonious blend of freshness and authenticity, already available for consumption in the Schengen area of terminal 2.
Authentic Nice cuisine at Café Mauresque
Café Mauresque, a new establishment in the non-Schengen area of terminal 1, stands out for its offer centered on local products. Offering a variety of local tapas, it positions itself as an ambassador of Nice’s culinary identity, offering a tasty break to travelers in search of authentic discoveries.
