The day before, on July 20, the Quai des États-Unis will welcome the public from 8 pm for an evening of festivities with various activities.

The program will start at 8:15 pm with a musical ambiance, followed by a DJ set from Ofenbach, the globally recognized French dance duo, at 9:15 pm. At 10:30 pm, a drone and fireworks show will light up the Nice sky, orchestrated by the company Dronisos. With 1,500 drones, this will be one of the largest shows in Europe, highlighting the Promenade des Anglais as it celebrates its 200th anniversary.

Economic impact of the tour de france arrival in nice

Hosting the Tour de France 2024 by the Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur represents a considerable economic opportunity. In 2023, Nice has already demonstrated its capability to organize major sporting events such as the Rugby World Cup and Iron Man. The final arrival of the Tour de France, preceded by two stages in the Alpes-Maritimes, will further strengthen this position.

Economic estimates are promising: for every euro invested by the city, 8 euros are expected in return due to visitor spending, infrastructure investments, and international media coverage. Financial benefits could reach between 50 and 60 million euros, highlighting the significant economic impact of this event for the local economy.

The stages of the 2024 Tour de France on the Côte d’Azur
