Urban Planning Nice

Key Highlights:

  • A €18M investment for a multifunctional urban planning project in Nice-East
  • A 600 m² health center to reduce congestion in emergency rooms and improve access to care
  • A 503-space parking lot for cars and 92 for two-wheelers, optimizing parking

As part of a major urban planning project, the €18 million project will allow for the construction of a modern, multifunctional building on the Pont Michel island, located in the Nice-East neighborhood.

This project, which will be completed in approximately three years, aims to improve the services and infrastructure available to residents and users of the neighborhood.

One of the major components of this project is the creation of a 600 m² health center on the ground floor of the future building.

This structure will improve access to care for residents of the neighborhood and reduce congestion in the emergency room of the nearby Pasteur hospital. The interior layout of the health center will be done in a second phase, after the delivery of the raw space.

The Pont Michel island building will also house the cleanliness, collection, and sanitation department. Offices will also be set up next to the health center.

The project also includes the construction of a parking lot on levels R + 1 to R + 5. With 503 spaces for cars, including 24 for people with reduced mobility (PRM), and 92 spaces for two-wheelers, twice as many as currently exist.
