Three Cote d’Azur-based companies have been recognised by the Technology Fast 50 awards, a programme created in 2001 by the audit and consulting firm Deloitte, which recognises the innovative technology companies based in France with the fastest revenue growth over the last five years.
- Webinterpret, a company specialising in the internationalisation of e-commerce websites, won first prize in the Technology Fast 50 Mediterranean and landed 6th position in the French classification with a growth rate of 3,977% over 5 years. This start-up based in Sophia Antipolis came from the PACA-Est incubator in 2009 and raised €5M in May 2014. Starting by offering instant translation services during conference calls, it modified its business model and now facilitates international e-commerce, particularly through its localisation and optimisation offer for listings on eBay and Amazon. - Tellus, which operates and distributes telecommunications services for migrant workers, is ranked 37th on the Fast 50. The company, created in 2003 and incubated in Sophia Antipolis by TELECOM Paris Tech EURECOM, owes its success to the development of micro-payments in North-South exchanges; over 400 billion dollars are transferred from developed countries to poor countries every year by immigrant workers. - Full Performance, the leader in Deep Predicting for optimising web marketing campaigns, is positioned 39th in the Fast 50 ranking. Launched in 2006, the company is based in Nice and present in Aix-en-Provence, Paris and London. Nice is historically home to the R&D team which develops the multi-lever predictive Web-Marketing optimisation engine based on the long-term behavioural analysis of internet users and paid on results. . Breaking with traditional methods, the patented algorithm has attracted almost 2000 customers including major accounts such as Orange and the French postal service. The Efficient Traffic suite of audience analysis tools and the company Full Performance have won many awards: Technological Innovation e-commerce Trophy 2009, Oseo Excellence, Research Body Approval 2010-2012, Deloitte Technology Fast 50 & 500 award in 2012, 2013 and 2014. Axelle LEMAIRE who, on Tuesday 25 November, presented the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 award to the Dijon-based company Weezevent, said that for the fourth consecutive year, France was the most represented company in the European awards, in the Technology Fast 500: « 86 French companies among the 500 most dynamic in Europe, including 20 in the top 100, it is the entire French Tech that is being recognised! » stressed Axelle LEMAIRE. « Over half the companies ranked in the Fast 50 come from regional areas, I see that as a sign of the maturity of our ecosystems across the whole territory and the strength of the entrepreneurial initiatives in our country. »
